Device Buttons

We have 4 buttons on the LeakNet device and they can be used in multiple ways to do different functions:

• Press once: press and release after 1 second.
• Press and hold: press and release after 3 seconds.
• Long Press and Hold: press and release after 6 seconds.
• Triple-Press: press and release three times in quick succession.
• Hold & Reset: press, hold, press reset, then release.

Here are the various functions of the device buttons and responses:

• Reset
  • Press once: Reset the device (power off and on)
• Open
  • Press once: Open the valve
  • Press and Hold (until beep): Ignore event
  • Press and Long Hold (until beep): Calibrate the leak cable
  • Hold & Reset: Swapping Offline Configuration
    • Beep Once: Commissioning Mode
    • Beep Twice: Operation mode
    • Beep Thrice: Problem – No SD card
    • Tune: Online Configuration
• Close
  • Press once: Close the valve
  • Press and Long Hold (until beep): Peak Flow Calibration
• Mode
  • Press and Hold: Enter Listening Mode to set WiFi credentials
  • Long Press and Hold: Clear WiFi credentials and enter Listening Mode
  • Triple-Press: Factory reset (clears configuration but does not clear WiFi credentials)
