Disable Valve

Normally, the valve would close turning the water off after a major alert. However there may be times when you never want the valve to turn the water off. *

In this case, you can either disable the valve before the expected time of usage, or click the link in the minor alert which disables the valve for that event only.

To Disable Valve, you must be the owner:

Click on the device from your dashboard.
Click on Settings to go to the device settings.
Click on Device Configuration and Settings in the Device Configuration section.
Click on Configure meter and valve to change the configuration.
Click on the Advanced Settings button.
Click on Disable Valve and confirm your choice.

The valve status on the device page and under device settings should now display “disabled”.

* If you only want the valve to be disabled during work hours, or some other daily routine, use valve schedules instead.
