Group Valve

A group valve can be created as a virtual entity which has the ability to control all the valves in the group.

Clicking open and close on this virtual group valve will propagate down to all physical valves in the group.

By ticking “Trigger on alert”, this virtual group valve will also activate if any device inside the group encounters a major alert (where the valve shuts off the water). This causes all the physical valves in the group to shut off on a suspected leak. This is useful in a scenario where there are multiple valves installed on the same riser and shutting all of them off at once prevents damage caused by a leak coming from multiple directions e.g. mains and gravity fed.
