When the devices is offline, it will still monitor and record your flow consumption.
If your device has an SD card fitted, your device will be able to store over 10 years of data. You can check if one is fitted under Device details.
However, if you re-connect your device online, it will only backup the last 3-7 days to FlowReporter (depending on consumption data points). If any alerts are created as a result of historic data (more than 1 hour old) then you will still receive the alert however the valve will not close.
To view earlier offline consumption, you can manually import the data from the SD card into a spreadsheet software (such as Microsoft Excel). The files are standard comma delimited, and are located in the director named Saved which will in turn contain directories named after the day they hold data for.
The files inside are numbered in chronological order and each line will have the following format:
[pin],[timestamp],[pulses],[flow rate (l/min)],[total consumption of event (l)],[local date and time]
For example:
1,1608224840,2907,10.97,79.76,2020-12-17T17:07:20+01:00
